After Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition was released in arcades throughout Japan, fighting game fans throughout the rest of the world were left in the cold by Capcom. However, Capcom seeks to remedy this by announcing their latest plan to bring this game to households worldwide.
Today Capcom revealed that Super Street IV Arcade Edition will be available on both the PC and consoles. The new Street Fighter content can be obtained through downloadable content or by purchasing a disk at a local video game retailer.
The title will also include two new features, which will not be available to its arcade counterpart. These features include an upgraded replay channel and character costume customization. The new replay channel in particular will provide users with a unique opportunity to follow and view high level player’s fights.
Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition will be available on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on June 7 of this year. However, people who wish to get the disk version will have to wait until June 28.
